What is the plate made of?

How does NFC work?

All recent smartphones (iPhone and Android) read NFC chips. Members hold their phone to the plate, a notification pops up, they tap it, and your club's page opens. No app required.

Is it compatible with all phones?

The QR code works on 100% of smartphones, even older ones. NFC works on iPhone 7 and later, and most Android phones from 2015 onward.

Does the plate work without internet?

Yes, the plate itself works without internet. It only stores the URL of your club page in its chip: no battery, no Bluetooth, no network on the plate side.

Visitors still need a connection (4G/5G or the club's Wi-Fi) on their phone to open the page once scanned.

What sports does it work for?

All of them: soccer, basketball, rugby, hockey, crossfit, martial arts, dance, climbing… Clubdirect is built for amateur sports clubs and associations in general. If you have members and a schedule, it works.

Can I edit my page after creating it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as many times as you want and instantly. Your changes are live within a second. That's the whole point: the plate doesn't change, the page behind it evolves with your club.

Can I choose my page URL?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you choose your URL of the form clubdirect.io/your-club during setup.

You can change it as many times as you want until you approve the mockup.

Once the mockup is approved, the URL is locked: your plate is printed with it, the QR points to it and the NFC chip is encoded with it.

What visual customizations are available?

You customize the primary colors (with gradients), the logo, the cover photo, as well as the shape and background color of each section. You can also reorder sections via drag-and-drop to highlight what matters most.

When will I receive my plate?

Plates are produced in batches. Pre-orders are open until November 30, 2026, with estimated delivery on January 5, 2027 — your club starts the new year fully equipped.

You receive an email at each step:

Why is delivery in January?

Because your plate isn't a stock item: it's made for your club — custom mockup, NFC chip encoded with your page, printed with your club's name. We group all orders into a single production run: that's what makes the $49 price possible.

How many pre-orders per year?

One or two, no more. Each pre-order corresponds to a grouped production run, and the current one is the last of the year: open until November 30, 2026, with estimated delivery on January 5, 2027. Miss it, and you'll have to wait for the next one.

How long does customization take?

Once your order is placed, we prepare your mockup in 24 hours. You approve it in one click, and we send it to batched production.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, as long as the mockup hasn't been approved. Once approved, it goes to production and cancellation is no longer possible (the plate is being printed for you specifically).

What is Clubdirect+?

Clubdirect+ is an optional add-on we built for advanced clubs that want to go further. It adds the photo gallery, more videos and documents. It's $4.90/month with no commitment, activate or cancel anytime directly from your dashboard.

What exactly are the differences between Basic and Plus?

With your Clubdirect plate (Basic plan, included for life): all sections except the photo gallery, up to 2 documents and 1 video. Clubdirect+ adds: the photo gallery, unlimited videos and up to 10 documents. It's $4.90/month, activate or cancel anytime from your dashboard.

How can I pay for my pre-order?

Payment is processed via Stripe: credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You automatically receive an invoice by email after payment.

How do I log in without a password?

Clubdirect uses magic links. You enter your email and we send you a unique link to log in. No password to remember, no risk of forgetting it.

Is my data protected?

Yes, Clubdirect complies with GDPR. Your data and your members' data are stored in Europe on a compliant infrastructure. You can request an export or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
